The North Norfolk Workout Group is a practicial conservation group, with a focus on health & wellbeing. Run entirely by volunteers for five years, we are now working alongside The Conservation Volunteers, who are taking the lead on our upcoming tasks during spring 2018.
We work on various sites throughout North Norfolk, taking part in exciting practical conservation tasks to help improve our local green spaces.
The Workout Group are back!
Meeting up during February and March, and again in May and June, we are joining forces with TCV’s North Walsham Conservation Group for tasks on sites old and new – please see the Programme page for more details!

We carry out activities throughout the year, such as scrub clearance, heathland restoration, tree planting, woodland habitat management, invasive species removal, hay raking, and much more… We welcome people of all ages and abilities – no experience is necessary – and everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace, and enjoy their afternoon out!
Some of the sites we visit regularly include Sheringham Park, Felbeck Trust sites, Salthouse Heath, Beeston Common, Wiveton Downs, Sheringham Patch Project, Kelling Heath and The Rookery.
Please have a look at the Programme page to see our upcoming tasks.
