The Workout Group have been out in the wilds of the Norfolk countryside for an amazing five years! We have spent that time helping to improve many local green spaces (35 at the last count!), as well as our own health and wellbeing – and having the odd cuppa and piece of cake, when necessary…
The small team who manage the group are taking a few months break, so our volunteers are putting their feet up to enjoy a well-earned rest this spring and summer, after a particularly busy autumn and winter!
We’re really proud of our all achievements together (some of which you can read about in these pages), and we hope the Workout Group will be back out there soon, working on our treasured green spaces.
In the meantime, if you are looking for conservation volunteering opportunities in Norfolk, then please think about The Conservation Volunteers – they lead highly enjoyable practical sessions on local sites, will give you a cup of tea, and can usually provide free transport too!
